Random Photography Student:
So in the Photography Club we got a new project. It was pretty easy, just go around and take photos of people when they don't expect it.
The first kid I happened to get was another Photography Club member. I think his name was uh... Double D.
I walked behind him a bit to class then shouted to him "Hey! Smile!" He hardly had enough time to stop before he realized what was happening. In truth, I hoped to get an odd expression. Sadly he did catch on partially before the camera went off.----------------------------------------------------------------
So this drawing was done primarily traditionally, but there is obvious digital editing in the frame, and in some of the background shading.
The REAL reason I started up a project like this (ones of Eddy and Ed will come soon) is because I noticed something about my EEnE art:
Ed is almost always smiling in my art.
Eddy and Edd are almost never smiling in my art.
TIME TO FIX THAT.
So we have a cute, shy, caught off guard, smile from Double D. :3 I really really think its so cute! It took me several sketches in my sketchbook to get a good idea of what kind of "cute" drawing of Double D worked.
Fun fact:
Double D himself, and the Background + Plank are two separate drawings. I wanted to be safe and I knew there would be digital editing so... I just did those parts differently. Honestly that was wise in the end I think.
